I don’t draw, I don’t paint, I don’t dance (don’t ask me).

I write.

What I don’t know and haven’t done feeds my curiosity and keeps me learning–and writing. All of that keeps me young and humble (no matter how I may act or what others might say).

I’m fascinated by the choices one makes, whether it’s what to wear or how to express an idea. Expression, I’ve observed, whether it’s doing or saying something either mundane or extraordinary, is a snapshot of a moment of context. Each moment has the power to touch someone else either through its grandness or simplicity, or its opportunity or sincerity. I know these moments color the choices we then make. I just hope I’m not mixing plaids with stripes.
